This experience is designed for those who wish to discover authentic flavors, learn traditional techniques and enjoy an immersive moment in close contact with the culture of Mount Etna.
What to Expect:
- Cooking: Guided by our chef, you’ll prepare two typical Sicilian dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients. Each recipe aims to create a perfect harmony between food and wine, pairing your dishes with our red and white Etna DOC wines.
- Wine Masterclass: Upon request, you can join a Wine Masterclass led by one of our producers. During this session, you’ll explore the philosophy behind our wines , the characteristics of the Etna terroir, and secrets of our winemaking tradition.
Led by the demonstrations and explanations of our chef, you’ll cook two typical Sicilian dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients carefully selected to enhance the aromas and characteristics of our wines. Each recipe is studied to create the perfect harmony between food and wine, pairing your dishes with our red Etna DOC and white Etna DOC wines.
In addition, the characteristics of the Etna terroir and the secrets of our winemaking tradition.
Together with our chefs, you will learn the recipes of the Sicilian tradition that best pair with our wines; a complete food and wine journey, from raw materials to the final product. This experience allows you to understand not only how to cook, but also how to appreciate wine through conscious tasting and thoughtful pairing.
Finally, you will take a seat inside the ancient Palmento, enjoy the dishes you have prepared with your own hands, and sip our Etna DOC wines during the tasting. Surrounded by history and tradition, this moment represents the perfect conclusion to a unique culinary experience.
